1983年，朱家明生于黑龙江省齐齐哈尔市，先后于上海和深圳生活，2007年来到北京发展。从小学习钢琴，14岁开始学习古典吉他与电吉他。19岁受到澳洲指弹吉他大师Tommy Emmanuel音乐的启发，开始演奏Finger-style Guitar（指弹吉他）,并走上了个人化的音乐创作道路。他是国内罕见的多栖型音乐人，从爵士、乡村蓝调、摇滚以及古典音乐中摄取营养，从而创作出属于自己风格的音乐。
